Media Class

For my media class, I have to remake one minute of a music video. Since the beginning of the semester I had time to record and edit it. At the beginning of spring break I started recording the music video and at the end of spring break I finished recording all the clips. The clips of the music video were due in class the week after spring break. After recording the clips of the music video I had to edit it and add the audio which made it the first draft of the music video. Now, we are learning how to add color and add text to the music video. I think that editing the music video is the easiest part of the whole project. Even though it is time consuming I don’t have any trouble editing the clips and putting them together to make the music video. In this class we have been doing in class challenges that have to do with what we have to add to our video. I find the class challenges really helpful because it is basically a tutorial and makes the editing process much easier. Right now I have a B in that class. I have been doing all the work but the professor still hasn’t put in the recent assignment grades and I don’t know if my grade has been getting better or worse. I want to get an A in that class, that’s why I have been turning everything on time and I am also trying to do an assignment that is already late but I’ll still get some points so I can get my grade up. 

The Semester is Almost Over

This semester is almost over and I can’t wait to have another break from school. Even though the end of the semester means having finals and having a lot of assignments due I am excited for the summer. Since the semester is almost over it is also almost time to choose my classes for the fall semester. I don’t know exactly what classes I am going to choose because I still need to see an advisor. Since I just changed my major this semester I am going to have a different advisor and the classes I will be choosing are going to be a little different. With the major I had before, my advisor advised me to take most of my classes that involved requirements for my major but probably with the major I chose now I think it’s going to be a little different. Since I don’t know exactly what classes I am going to take, I think that I have an idea of what subjects because of the GE requirements and my major. When I went and changed my major the new advisor for the major that I recently changed it to gave me a paper of what classes I was required to take throughout my four years of college. That helped me have an idea of what classes I am going to be taking throughout the years. I am just glad that summer is almost here and I’ll have a lot of time to relax and take a break from school. 

Spring Break is Over.

Now that spring is over, I have to go back to making sure I keep my grades up. I did need a break because honestly on spring break I didn’t had to worry about any assignments due that week. The only thing that I did that had to do anything with school was catch up with assignments that are going to be due soon. Now, coming back to school, I realize that there is still some time left until the semester is over and that I still have more midterms, finals, and much more load of assignments for each of my class left. Coming back to school right after spring break got me thinking about my grades and everything that has to do with school. Taking some time of school and not thinking too much about it during spring break really helped a lot with not getting stressed. During my spring break, like I said before I catch up with some school work but even though I didn’t do anything interesting I still enjoyed the week that we had for spring break. I just basically stayed home everyday and I watched some movies and started a new TV show. Even though I wished I would’ve done something fun or go somewhere exciting during my spring break, I am not complaining that I stayed home and did nothing. because that helped not to think too much about school. I left all the thinking about school to when I go back to school which is now.
