Now that I’ve been in college for six weeks already, I am getting use to being a college student. I have become more responsible mostly because of all the homework that we have to keep up with. I have different habits than what I use to have when I was in high school. Now, I study on time before I have an exam. When I was in high school I did not study weeks or at least days before I had a test in any of my classes. I would usually study 5 minutes before a test. Sometimes I did really good but other times not so good. The times when I did really good was only because I remember what the teacher had taught us in class and the subject wasn’t really hard. Looking over my notes just refreshed my memory from what I had learned in class. It was challenging at times because I would get confused on what the notes were really trying to say and I wouldn’t understand the topic. Now that I am in college and I know what it is really like to study, I find it really helpful. It honestly takes a lot of stress away. I feel like going over notes can help a little but looking at the textbook, reading and stoping to figure out what it is really trying to say is way more helpful. Now in college before an exam, I go over my notes and it makes it much easier because I now know what it’s saying. I feel much better now that I find time to actually study.
